I have always been a spiritual shopper and The Art of Living Yes!+ course came as a surprising gift to my life.
Since childhood, I had problem of stammering. I was even not able to speak one sentence correctly. I used to be very disappointed with myself. Always depressed and frustrated about my own stammering existence.
After doing Advance course one year after my Yes!+, I noticed gradual decrease in my stammering. I was more relaxed facing people and hence stammered less. After that, DSN course with Mr. Rashmin Pulekar changed my life. In those 3 days, I gave Intro Talk to many with very minor stammering. I was able to communicate with people with more confidence and smile.

Just recently I appeared for Pre-TTC at Vasad Ashram in Gujarat. As a part of training, I had to organize and conduct 1 Nav Chetna Shibir. I approached one of the primary schools at Sattadhar in Ahmedabad and fixed dates for organizing Bal - Chetna Shibir instead of Nav - Chetna. On first day of Shibir, I was pretty nervous of my stammering. I was thinking, how on Earth would I address the crowd of 94 students without stammering. So, at the beginning of the Shibir, I chanted Ganesh Mantra for success of Shibir and then chanted Guru Mantra "Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu..." and magic happened, I started speaking. After 2 hours of Shibir, when I asked about the feedback, one of the volunteers told that they were surprised to notice that I did not stammer even once.
I realized the immense grace that Guruji is raining on me. I finally realized GURU'S WORD DON'T STAMMER.

My first Guru Story

Jai Guru Dev Everyone, 

I have been on path since August, 2010 and life has been a celebration since then. One after another there have been changes leading to ever blossoming heart which just want to be with Guru and Serve Him. The Guru Story, I am going to share with you has happened just few minutes back.
I have been at home for the last 3-4 days now for the viral fever I have got infected with. It is the 4th day in row when I am enclosed in house. With all the body ache and headache I have been able to make it to short kriya in the morning but Meditations were not that deep, or I just could not sit for a good time. I was having a very hard time in sleeping tonight. Terrible headache, body ache, coughing, everything was just winning over me making me feel so week and vulnerable.  I could also feel the noise in my head, so many random thoughts, fear and everything …something was just going on. Husband helped with head massage, and even sang “Vahe Guru” song for me but nothing was helping.

So after all the trials, I just decided to listen to Bhajans on my IPod. Even Bhajans were sounding like noise to me so you can imagine the poor condition of mind. I started flipping one Bhajan after another and there comes a Guided meditation from Guruji. And Guess what, it was the one on “Transforming Emotions”. All my worries, fears and thoughts just got dissolved by, body ache is just a memory now. And here I am typing my first Guru Story to share with you. 
Thank you Guruji, for being there, at every minute…every moment with all of us. It is just a blessing to be chosen by You in this life time.

My Guru-Stories...!!! :)

Jai Gurudev...!!!

This is the first time, I am writing my Guru Story... I am an “Art of Living” devotee since more than a year now and there are so many miracles happened in my life but I wanted to share few that happened recently.
Last Week, on 23rd Feb, 2013 Guruji was in Mumbai for Mahasatsang and Inauguration of "Volunteer for a Better India - Maharashtra". It was around 7 PM, we reached the venue. Satsang was going on and the atmosphere was with full of Divine songs. Around 7:30 PM, Guruji arrived at the venue and started walking on the ramp with full of HIS graceful dancing steps, greeting/blessing everyone, receiving people’s letters, gifts, sweets and all.
I had written a letter to Guruji and was very keen to handover it to HIM, personally. But the crowd was so huge that I didn't get a chance to reach him. After some time, Guruji went back to the stage and program started. I was bit upset. I had come all the way from Pune to Mumbai and had deep feeling to handover the letter to Guruji.

While the Program was in progress, Volunteers were collecting the letters from the crowd. But somehow I was not feeling to handover my letter to them. I had a deep sense of feeling in my heart that if I pray from my clean heart, Guruji will receive my letter personally. After Inauguration of VFBI-MH, Guruji gave a speech on VFBI movement and then we had a beautiful meditation. Around 9 PM people started leaving the place. Program was also about to an end. And I was getting nervous moment by moment. I asked one of my AOL teacher about my wish, he said go to the place nearby stage from where HE will live and try If you get through. I rush to that place but volunteers were not allowing me to enter. Finally, I closed my eyes and prayed to Guruji by chanting "Jai Gurudev". And what a surprise, Guruji, stood up from his "Aasan" and started walking the ramp once again. It created million hopes for me and decided not to leave this chance. Somehow, I found a way to reach the ramp through the huge crowd. Guruji, were coming collecting people’s gifts, letters. And HE reached the place where I was standing and took my letter in HIS divine Hands. Eye-contact happened and Wahh... What a wonderful moment…!!! I became literally speechless. Tears of gratitude came from my eyes. It was so beautiful moment for me. My Guru had listened to my wish and fulfilled it.
After the program, we started return journey back to Pune. While coming, my AOL teacher said he is coming back for the next day program with one of the DSN teams. And suddenly I felt of coming with him again the next day. My teacher said they have 2 seats vacant and he will confirm about the seats the next day morning. Next day morning he informed me that they have 2 seats and I can come. I was so happy and thought of taking some sweets to Guruji. I took sweets for Guruji and this time, I knew that Guruji will have my sweets personally. And I was right..Though Guruji didn't have my sweets, HE blessed my sweets box. I was so happy that I had one and distributed the remaining some sweets to my group. :)
Now here is the third miraculous experience. After the program, we started our return journey. It was 5 AM in the morning we reached the Pune city. I was the only one who was supposed to get down at one of the stations. But I was in deep sleep and no one remembered that I have to get down at that station. One of the persons who was seating besides me awakened me and asked where I am getting down. He said your stop has gone behind and we are 7-8 KMs ahead now. I got down at the next available stop. It was 5 AM in the morning and no public transport facility available by that time. Weather was very cold. I was trying to stop vehicles on the high-way but no one was responding to my request.


Finally, I prayed to Guruji by chanting "Jai Gurudev". And what a miracle, within few seconds, one car came from the nearby village and stopped in front me. The person was going exactly the same station I wanted to go. I sat in the car and thanked Guruji. My station came, it was High-way and my house was 1 KM away from the station.  I asked the driver, I will get down then he said I am going in the city and if your house is on the way you can get down there. I was speechless again. I got down right there at my house area. After all this incidences, my faith in Guruji has increased so much. Now, I know that, if we pray to Guruji with all our heart then he always listens and helps us in every possible way. Let’s help HIM in his dream of "One World Family" and he will keep helping us to make our life better.
Guruji, I touch your lotus feet with full of gratitude. Thank You and lots of Love, Guruji.

He takes care of every little need

It was june 2011. I was doing seva for the upcoming Yes+ course along with my other friends. There were hardly any registrations in hand. On one day, we were doing seva for the last 4 hours and were very hungry. We had to go to an institute to schedule an intro talk for the next day. On the way there were so many shops to eat something. But we thought of doing seva first and eat later. When we reached that institute we met the coordinator over there. We were meeting her for the first time. She told us to wait in other room. And after a moment she sent a servant with two full plates of snacks along with ketchup. We were so surprised!!!!!! We ate that and I tell u it was very delicious. The intro talk for next day also got fixed. 
I was quite new into seva at that time. I had always heard from other people that when u give your 100% guruji takes care 100%. I experienced this on that day and was in full gratitude. It was 2011 and now its 2013 and he is taking care of every little need. The grace and blessings which guruji has showered on me is beyond explanation. My whole life has transformed. It feels like a Rebirth. He is managing everything for me whether its family, studies, relationship, sadhna, seva, satsang and so many things to count upon!!!!!! 
Thankyou guruji for choosing me as your devotee. This is the best thing which has happened in my life.

My Guru Story - Prithwish

Jai Gurudev!
I am Prithwish Kundu from Kolkata. I had always thought of sharing the way life carried me, after I started moving along my Guru's path! But I kept on hesitating...and today I felt like "I have too!"
I used to be a very introvert, shy kind of boy, not being able to open up in front of people. I used to be only with one or two selected friends. I remained depressed and lonely. Although I had a quest for Spiritual Knowledge since childhood, I never got any person who could answer or any proper answer to my questions. And in the process an aversion for the term "Guru" or "Swami" or "Maharaj" grew in me. I had never come across Guruji's knowledge or path during this time. I got admitted to a dental college and I was studying there. All remained almost same.

About one and a half year back a new professor Dr. Devarshi Nandi (Art of Living teacher) joined our college. I came to know that he takes Yoga classes, some Yes+ or something. I kept on talking bad about about him in public not even trying to know what it was all about. I had taken a stern decision of not attending any Yes+. After he had taken three Yes+ among our college students a fourth was to begin on 12th January 2012. On the eve of the starting day I don't know what happened to me. I took a 180degree turn and thought why not I try it out. . .and then. . .everything changed!!!

Every moment of my life now, I experience the grace of Guruji. From most trivial issues to very important issues every moment I feel "I am being taken care of", whether it be getting a seat in a crowded bus or taking Mind Matters sessions among a group of 80people, grace has worked everywhere! From being a hardcore non-veg I at once became a pure vegetarian! From being "lonely, depressed, tensed" I have now become so joyful and involved in so many good works with a calm and serene mind! Its rightly said "Behind every successful man there is 99pecent grace and 1percent hard work!"
Guruji's grace has even worked miracles in me at physical level. I had to undergo septoplasty(a nasal surgery) on March 2011 for being unable to breathe through my nose due to blockage. But about 3-4 months after the surgery the trouble fully relapsed for which I had many sleepless nights. But after doing Kriya I am almost 70-80% cured within days.

The list is endless. Pages after pages can be written on Guruji's grace. So I would like to end with Guruji's poem

Words are too small to convey the Truth

Yet they can trigger the flames of wisdom,

Shower comfort on the intense longing,

Raise cheers of joy and make you

Know I treasure your love for me.

Like God his creation,

The root its trunk,

Unknown, unheard, unseen,

In the silent chamber of heart

I am in you as you,

You are in me as me

Ha! What a blessing!

My Guru Story

Jai Gurudev!!

Ever since I have met him, my Life itself is a GURU-STORY. Yet, sharing one page out of the book of his miracles in my Life. It happened on 12th February 2013. Guruji was in TOK, Noida, (National Capital Region), India, on 11th and 12th Feb. And following my practice of going to meet HIM whenever he's in Delhi, I went to meet him with my family.

We reached there at 8:30 PM, he had just gone from the meditation hall to his room upstairs and It wasn't sure when would he meet and whether he would meet us or not.. Still, like we always wait in faith, we did that day too. Time passed by, and now only the devotees who had come to meet him were left.There were 40-50 of us. Around 10:15, 30-35 of us were left and all eyes were gazing at the dinner hall where he was, to catch a glimpse of him when he comes out. But, his Dinner plate was sent as prasad to all of us and we were asked to leave and come back in the morning. But we still waited on. I was singing bhajans to him very slowly and was in a feeling that If he meets, very good and even if he doesn't there would be some reason, so in a state of equanimity I was waiting. But, we had to come back at 11:30 without meeting him.

Now, something started moving inside me, and I realised I really wanted to meet my Divine before the Valentine and went off to sleep with these thoughts. When I got up it was already 8 am and I had to reach there at 9:30 ideally. I did my Sadhna and left for the TOK. When in metro, I rang up my teacher enquiring what HE was doing and when HE was going to leave?. He said "you just come, HE won't go without meeting you".

After reaching there I just stood near the lift, waiting for him. And tears of longing, started flowing through my eyes! In my heart I started doing some emotional blackmailing with him too because I knew that time, I just would not be able to take it easily, If he doesn't meet me. After some wait, HE came!! But, somehow I got pushed behind in the line of devotees. I still kept my hand in front , with a rose in it! But, he took the chits and letters of people around me and not my rose. The next time I knew he was in his car and I had 5-6 devotees in between him and me. And the expression on my face said it all, I was shocked what has happened to me.

Still I somehow got some sense to talk to him in silence. And I just asked him with all my innocence - ''GURUJI, WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE"?

My teacher got the expression on my face and asked me to approach him from the other side. Suddenly he opened his car gate and some devotees bowed down to him. Next I could hear- he was telling all of us to get in the hall.

Lo and Behold, at the same time I DON'T KNOW HOW HE CAME RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I just gave him the rose and kept looking at him for very few seconds and AGAIN I DON'T KNOW HOW I HUGGED HIM because I'm sure my mind was not in working condition as HE was in front of me! Those 5 seconds, were out of the World. And I got the treasures of the Whole World in those 5 seconds!! And after getting out of his way I started crying more bitterly, this time in Grace!!

Had heard and read till now, How HIS flights get delayed when his devotees have a longing to meet HIM and NOW, feeling lucky to have witnessed it myself. (He had got a message after sitting in the car).

I had this wish of 'hugging him sometime' since last 4-5 months and had patience also all along that Whenever my Wish will reach its height , It will get fulfilled also. But, I had not imagined It would happen so early.

Even before my wish could take the form of desire. HE LEFT ME GAPING HOW EVERYTIME HE FULFILLS OUR DESIRES, EVEN BEFORE THEY ARISE!!!

Tirunelveli Halwa - A Story

I was taking a bal chetana shivir (free yoga/pranayam course for children) few days back at Banglore. It was organized by a beautiful couple I met recently. As the course progressed, I shared with the children the following story of mine (which happened few years ago), on the last day of the course. 

"Once I was at the Ashram and I was rushing for lunch. Meanwhile, I saw a lady carrying lot of luggage with great difficulty. She was going towards old ashram which is a detour for me. Neverthless seeing her struggle, I helped her till her Kutir and said "Jai Guru Dev". She said wait a minute, searched through her bag and pulled out a sweet packet. She insisted I accept it. That was "Tirunelveli Halwa". She told me its a special halwa you get in Tamilnadu and she was carrying few packets for the Ashramites. And I said in my mind "Wah Guruji" and remembered what Guruji says "Seva karoge tho meva milega" {If you do sea, you will get mew (a traditional delicious indian recipe)}. That day I had a sweet tooth and craving for sweets from the morning. :-)"

So I concluded the 'bal chetana' course with this story followed by dinner with the children. As I was about to leave, the host of the course gave me a token of love for taking the course. With her permission, I opened the gift. Can you guess what it is? 

"Tirunelveli Halwa" nicely packed. The hosts had no idea I was telling this story on the last day and we are in Banglore not Tamilnadu. You think its a coincidence? :-)   Well..
