Guru Story - Money to Divine Honey

My name is Vikas Sheth. I joined The WONDERFUL Art of Living (AOL) due to the compulsion of my little wonderful sister Vishva Sheth. I had always thought that way to a happy life is by putting all my efforts into earning MONEY. When I used to hear people say "I'm out with my family", I used to think he just 'wasted' an entire day because he did not earn MONEY! As you can easily figure out my pathetic life! All I thought was MONEY! So, I rarely had any time to make friends. I rarely went to get–togethers, outings or with my family. Then, I met Shyam. He was the enlightenment! He works as an analyst in well known bank (which is serious work!) and yet he is not drained out or sad and I bet his family is happy! The question then arose, WHAT DID HE DO THAT I DID NOT DO?


After meeting him, I enrolled into the YES+ program. There, I thought that I will be taught the way to earn more MONEY! (Silly me!!). Virat and Vasudha headed the course. They were the FIRST TRUE FRIENDS I EVER HAD! I went through many 'silly processes' which at the end had completely transformed me! After the course, I got the answer of the above question! IT'S NOT THE MONEY! ITS ME! If I'm HAPPY, everyone else is HAPPY! When they were HAPPY, I could perform better at work! IT ALL STARTS WITH ME!


There at the course, Virat also said that I must enjoy my work. If I don't, there is something seriously wrong with the job. He told us the good side about doing your own thing. At first, it did not make much sense! HOW IS ONE SUPPOSED TO ENJOY WORK? The next day when I went to work, this time, I tried to enjoy it but, I simply could not! At the end of the day, I seriously started feeling that something is wrong with my job and that I'm supposed to be somewhere else! But where? I got an offer from the U.A.E. at the same post with 4 times my current pay! But, it would be the same old thing which I would not like to do. I always enjoyed designing steel structures (especially Scaffolding Systems). Then I thought of Guruji, asking him what should I do? The very next day, my friend called me proposing me his business venture. At first, I did not pay any heed but the moment he said the phrase "Design of Scaffolding Systems", I accepted the offer! I'm today one of the five partners of RAAJ Scaffolding Services, our new company!


Happiness at last! Today, I ENJOY at my work place, I own a company and I design SCAFFOLDING SYSTEMS which I always enjoyed and I earn good profits! Wow! My family is also happy! On Sundays, I'm fresh! We all have a nice time and I actually have AN OUTING WITH MY FAMILY!


This like a dream comes true! Thanks to My wonderful sister Vishva, my Good friend Shyam and Vasudha Didi and my best Friend Virat! I've also decided to help AOL in building the Youth Center in Bangalore by designing and providing Scaffolding Systems. That's like moving from Money to Divine Honey.

Guru Story - Guruji's Presence Speaks In Me!!

I do not want to provide here the details how I got connected to Guruji.

As everybody I started my journey with HIS presence. Since then my life is not same. I had a wonderful childhood but as I grew up I was not matured to handle my mind. Lot of stresses, anxiety bogged my mind. And I can not explain that struggle to anybody because it can only bring tears in my eyes.

But ever since I decided to take it as challenge I could get rid most of the impressions in my mind. And I was connected to Guruji and the Knowledge and the Bliss danced on my way. That is HIS presence which speaks in me. I miss HIM very much in every moment of mine. I hope my story inspires others to take life as a BLISS and problem as part of this journey.

Guru Story - Guru's Grace

Today was a wonderful day! On Sunday evening we had a meeting on Skype with Swami Jyotirmaya because we are having a tour of "Wake up and Shake up" courses around Bulgaria and the last and biggest event is in Sofia.

In 3 days Swamiji has reached 700 people and has transformed their lives totally! But still we have to work a lot to reach the goal of 2000 people for Sofia. And the meeting we had was excatly about this.

After the talk we had on Sunday with Swamiji and Avinash ji I got really inspired to bring 250-300 people to the event with Swamiji in Sofia. But I had a doubt of how to achieve this goal. So, I went to bed with a prayer to Guruji to help us reach our goal.

As Avinashji proposed at the end of the meeting we all agreed to have morning Sadhana together the next weeks at 7 am in our AOL center in Sofia. Monday morning after 2.30 hours Sadhana we were ready to continue our day!

Me and my fiancee Martin had a meeting with a couple of our volunteers. And suddenly talking about the upcoming event and the meeting we had yesterday, they said they want a whole book of tickets - 10! After that I had an appointment for fiziotherapist and there also i sold 3 tickets. At the end of the day me, Martin, Sana, Yasin and Elena (my sister, brother and mother) went on a meeting with a famous Indian dancer and speaking of the event she said she will take a book of 10 tickets for her dance team! We sold 23 tickets for few hours without any effort just by spending casual time with people.

So, at 2 am same evening I was still awake and full gratefulness in my heart that I couldn't fall asleep unless sharing this experience with the rest of our Bulgarian teachers. I was so happy and contented and grateful to Guruji! Again and again He is showing us that He is with us and taking care of everything, we just have to be focused, have faith and pray!

Guru Story - THE "TYRE"  MIRACLE

My name is Ravi. I am originally from Bangalore, quite clos to Ashram. Currently living in Perth, Australia.

One of the most touching experience was when i driving between Sydney and Perth (2004). I had a job interview over the phone from Perth, which clicked and had to join in a weeks time. I had to make a choice to fly and get the car transported by road. I had 1 week and without a car its tough to commute to my new job. However, i had done only a basic course (1996) at that point in time. My younge brother who was in Australia was winding up for good, and had some bhajans from AOL. He left them all for me.

Between Sydney & Perth, its a distance between 2 tips of the continent (About 6000 kms). However for my journey i had vey little time for major preparation. its a gutsy thing to make an adventure in a small car thru the desert. However, istarted with a good feeling and the only music that was running thru and thru the whole journey was guru brhama guru vishu and few bhajans snug by bhanu didi.

I was just about to hit the nalabore stretch the folloing day. As i was driving may be @ 140 - 160 kms/hr , listening to guru brahma, Ganesh om my tyre blew (Rear LH) into pieces, shaking my car as though its going to roll on the ground. I was astonished to see that it came to a slow stop without maknig a scract on the ground, nor any major problem to my wheel.

No one to help as peolpe rarely travel on tha stretch. Got on the ground, may be which is 50° C + and replaced it with spare, which had low air pressure. Well, i had one song and one destination. When ireached the nearest town got the tyre relpaced to a new one and continued my journey.

My journey began then and guruji is with me now and for ever. even a small peek to see him brings so much happiness and treat for the soul. His grace is with me always. love you guruji.
