Guruji knows coding!!!

Hello :-)

I did my yes+ from Bangalore ashram in March 2012 and I can say that I have come out as a different person. Even before the course I always felt a connection with Guruji and more miracles started happening after the course.

I was not able to cope up in one of the laboratory courses and my faculty was also cross at me. After the course I tried to make things right with her but in vain. On the day of final examination, I studied everything surrendered to Guruji and went to the lab. Once I got the question paper I was blank for a long time. I closed my eyes and prayed again. Out of nowhere I started coding the programs and I got the output within half an hour. The faculty was so surprised that she checked the results thrice. She couldn’t understand what just happened but I could...

Around that time only, I was working on a research paper. There were little hopes that it will get published but as we rely on miracles, I got a call on the day before the conference that my research paper has been selected and I am invited to present it.

Whatever situation am in I always feel that HE is always walking with me. I feel so blessed to have Guruji in my life.
Jai Gurudev :)

Chamatkar (Miracle)

Note: If you are not able to see the image below, you need to click on 'Display images' in your mail

A miracle happened with me today. Since two months, I had a tennis elbow pain and I wasn't able to do the 3rd stage of Pranayam. One fine day, our Art of Living teacher Binduji called me for followup. But I refused to go since I felt that there is no point in attending followup as I could not to do the 3rd stage of Pranayam. Since she insisted, I went for the follow-up (though unwillingly) because I did not wanted to disappoint my teacher.
I did kriya withe everyone. During Kriya, I felt intense vibrations in my hand. When I came home, there was less pain. As per the instructions of my teacher, I sat to do sadhna (the next day) and a miracle happened. I did have pain but as I started with 2nd stage pranayama with my hands in position, there was no pain at all. Tears of gratitude started flowing non-stop. I could also do the 3rd stage pranayama easily without any pain. After the kriya was over, I thanked my teacher (with gratitude for Guruji). Had my teacher not insisted for the follow-up, I would have simply continued eating medicines and would have landed up on operation table. Jai gurudev!

He is always there, we just need to ask.

I have so many guru stories to share, and how always Guruji’s grace brought me out of difficult situations. But I will begin by sharing what happened most recently.

I had left my 4 year old daughter and maid at the playground to play, while I went to the mall to change an art of living music cd. I was driving the car and trying to make a u turn, near the entrance of the mall. But there was a car ahead of me, who was just not moving  as he was busy on the mobile . As I was in a rush, since I left my daughter, I drove past him and that left a bit of scratch on his car.

I did not realize that and I just drove back. Suddenly that car ( black honda), followed me and threaten me to stop  my car. I pulled my car to a corner and stopped. The man and his wife came out our their car, furious with anger. They also involved the policeman who was standing there. They demanded I pay for the damages and do a police report.

I just prayed so hard to Guruji to help me in the situation and started chanting om namah shiva. Suddenly I just felt so calm, and I knew in my heart Guruji is with me, and all will be well. I waited there patiently for 10 mins, while the guy was busy talking on the phone.

Finally he came to me and said I can leave. It was miraculous change his mood. And I knew it's only my Guru's grace.

Many incidents have happen where I felt that Guruji brought me out. We are so lucky that we have nothing to fear as we have our Guru with us all the time!

In gratitude :-)
Monica

My Guruji is the GREATEST

Note: If you are not able to see the image below, you need to click on 'Display images' in your mail

Jai Gurudev
My mum had been telling me all her experiences about how guruji has helped her every step of the way. She kept insisting that I do a course but with 2 little ones I never got a chance to till this year May of 2012. I did this course in Fiji and my whole street was into art of living, and kept going on and on about guruji. I being skeptical kept thinking in the back of my mind, they are all crazy... How can they pray to Guruji and he takes care of things? It was hard for me to understand... I did the course in Fiji and felt very good but I still wasn't connected to guruji or felt the love people have for him. My flight going to Fiji was very rough with the 2 kids, and coming back to Chicago I had an 18 hours hold in LA.

Then when I was coming back to USA from Fiji on the ride to the airport my mum and my kaki (aunt) kept telling me oh watch guruji will take care of everything. Just surrender to him. As we reached the airport we saw 2 busses, when I went in the whole airport was full and EVERYONE was going to LA, the flight I was going in. I was standing last in line and I had about 200 people in front of me for check-in. I was traveling alone with my 2 little boys, my mum told me to just give ur problems to guruji and he will take care of it... So I closed my eyes and said "Guruji I surrender, u take me to my destination safely". As soon as I said that and opened my eyes, a security guard come in front of me out of no where and asked "what did u say mam"? I was shocked coz I hadn't said anything. I then asked him if everyone was going to LA and he said yah the flight is pretty full. Then he asked me who I was traveling with and I said with these 2 kids... He then said oh come with me, he took me right in front of the line, and said u could check in next. I was still in shock. Then while i was checking in I suddenly had this thought and asked the lady "I need assistance with the kids" she said ok no problem, they assisted me all the way to the plane at my seat. The flight went smooth. That's not all....

I had a 18 hour hold in LA and my friend was picking us up from the airport, I was told by numerous people working at the airport that I will have to check out all my bags in LA and take it with me and check-in again the next day when I come to Chicago because the maximum they can hold a bag for is 12 hours hold. I didn't want to do that and was hoping I will just get all my luggage in Chicago because I had 2 small kids, 3 big bags, 3 full hand luggage and my purse and a camera bag. So after getting the customs done in LA I thought let me just try to see if they will take my bags. I stood in line to give my bags to the guy who was putting it on the belt. There was another guy in front of me and when his turn came, the security guy asked for his ticket, after looking he told him " sorry sir ur flights at 8am tomorrow, we can only hold the bags for 12 hours if more, you need to checkin tomorrow". I closed my eyes again and said " Guruji you brought me safely till here..., u take care of this" . When my turn came, the security guy didn't ask for my tickets or anything.... He just took my bags and put it on the belt and just smiled. When i reached chicago all my bags were here, safely. That's when my faith in guruji got established, I couldn't help but tell everyone about my guruji. This was just the first experience I have had. I just give problems to him and he takes me out of every situation. Miracles have become a part of my everyday life. I have never met guruji but I really really wish we meet soon.

Guruji Is watching us every moment!

Dear all,
Jai Guru Dev!

I did my Basic Course in 2000. This incident happened in 2005.

It was my first trip overseas and I was very excited - it was a 3 Day conference in Singapore. I used this opportunity to buy a lot of toys, books, clothes for my 2year old daughter .I went with one bag and bought a couple of additional bags to carry back the additional goods. I was extremely happy while returning home to meet my parents, wife and daughter. The flight landed at the Old HAL Bangalore airport at around midnight. I got my bags from the belt and went to a prepaid taxi counter to take a cab home- we didn't have the radio city cabs in 2005 and the pre-paid cabs were generally the Maruti Omnis or Indicas.

I strutted joyfully into an Indica cab and reached home at around 1.30pm. My father was awake when I reached home. I was just finishing my bath when my father knocked hard on the bathroom door and asked me where my Laptop was. I said that it has to be there along with the bags that I had got. I quickly dressed up and checked the place where i had kept my bags - The Laptop was not there. I just didn't know what to do. Instinctively, I looked at Guruji's picture and calmly said "Guruji, please please help me out, the Laptop has all my official documents and to top it all I haven't taken any backup".

I decided to take a rickshaw and go to the airport and was contemplating on Guruji on the way in a silent prayer. It was around 3pm by the time me and my father reached the airport - at that time the already constrained airport was in complete chaos with huge number of vehicles moving into and outside the airport. There was hardly any space for people to walk, there was no way we could find that particular indica which took me home and even if we did find the vehicle there was no guarantee that the Laptop would be there.
The moment I got out of the rickshaw , instinctively my hand went to the prepaid taxi bill in my purse where the taxi registration number was mentioned and i saw this number for the first ever time. I looked up and I saw an Indica having the same registration number moving 5 meters away from me towards the exit of the airport. I shouted and pleaded the driver to stop. He stopped and I ran towards the cab to check the backseat -there was another passenger sitting there on the left side of the backseat and my laptop was there on the right side (and neither the driver nor the passenger had even noticed its presence in the cab). I profusely thanked the driver who just smiled at what had happened.

I returned home with tears of gratitude at this miracle.

Guruji was watching every moment.

With lots of love,
jai Gurudev!

Guruji provides

Note: If you are not able to see the image below, you need to click on 'Display images' in your mail

This happened during the Navratri celebrations two years back, in 2010.

I had set off for my first ever Navratra Advance course in the ashram with three other AOL friends, which also included my fiancé. My office work led to a brief delay in me leaving for the airport. Neither my fiancé nor I could have a proper meal before leaving. Catching the flight was a close call and we were not able to grab anything to eat from the airport either. The only food we had was the quick snack that was served on the flight but we could not have it as much as we wanted as the snack was cold and tasteless.

We reached Bangalore airport at around 10 PM. Although all of us were famished, however we wanted to get a cab to the ashram as soon as possible as it was already late. So we did not have anything at the airport either. Having stayed in North India for quite some time now, I presumed that we will definitely find 24X7 ‘dhabas’(roadside eateries) on the way to the ashram as is the case in Delhi and adjoining regions.

As we reached the pre-paid taxi counter and requested for a cab, the guy on the counter informed us that there is a lady also waiting to go the ashram. Since she was alone, she was waiting if she could carpool with some group for safety purposes. We were more than happy to have her come along with us to the ashram in the cab (I would later know why Guruji clubbed her with us).

So we started our journey to the ashram – tired and dead starving. A little way through and after a brief conversation with the driver, I realized (to my agony) that there are no eateries on the way, at least none that will be open this late in the night. Since I had not been to the ashram earlier, I was not even aware of the dinner facilities there. So I resigned to my fate of spending the first night in the ashram starving while I kept imagining plates full of my favorite dish – paratha with bhindi ki subzi(leavened Indian bread with spiced okra curry).

Out of nowhere, I remembered someone once mentioning a random phrase to me – “Guruji provides” – that’s it. And I just tried to doze off in the front seat thinking about Guruji. The conversation amongst the ladies kept drifting from one topic to another in the rear seat.

The lady who had carpooled with us had listened to my conversation with the driver about locating an eatery. She seemed hesitant at first but later asked me if I would like to have some food that her mother had packed for her. She said that she is hesitant because the food will not even suffice one person out of the five of us, since she had asked her mother to pack very little food as she was travelling alone and not very hungry either.

With an apologetic and helpless expression, the lady dug into her hand-bag and pulled out something wrapped in white polythene. As she unwrapped the package, the mild drift of spices was unmistakable and as she handed me the food straight on my palms, lo and behold - paratha with bhindi ki subzi! (leavened Indian bread with spiced okra curry)I stared at the food, then at her face and no knowing how to thank her (and of course Guruji) started eating the food. However the miracle did not stop here. I already had two parathas when the lady asked me if I want to have one more. I politely declined knowing that she had food packed for only one person, however she thrust the paratha lovingly in my hands while muttering on how she was unable to understand her Mom packing so much food for no reason. But I knew.

I had four parathas, everyone else had a whole some dinner and I also had enough curry to gobble once everyone else was done. My heart full of gratitude for Guruji, we entered the ashram after being fed like kings. True enough – “Guruji provides”.

My Guru Story

Note: If you are not able to see the image below, you need to click on 'Display images' in your mail

Where do I begin with? My life is filled with Guru Stories. So I will share the latest one.
I did my engineering in PESIT, Bangalore, which I completed in May 2012. I was placed in one of the companies here in Bangalore with quite a decent pay. I wanted to work in Dubai as my parents stay there. I went to Dubai for vacation. There I applied in one of the companies as soon as I reached there. After a few mails reminding them of my CV, I got a response saying I would have my interview soon. How soon only Guruji knew! A month passed. I was enjoying myself totally knowing that wherever I join, it will be for good. But Dubai was still up on priority list. Now as days passed, my joining in Bangalore came. It was a week left for my joining there, again i reminded them of my CV, and there comes yet again the same response. In the meantime, my elder brother Rohit Patil had full faith that interview would happen on a Thursday (Guru ka din). I had given up Dubai option, as Thursdays passed. Now i had 2 days left for my joining in Bangalore, and I was still in Dubai with no idea where I would be. No flight booking had been done for Bangalore and my visa in Dubai was also very close to end of validity.

My brother got a call for Guru Puja at someone's house on a Thursday. He got this call a week earlier. Just one day before this Thursday, I got a call saying I have my interview scheduled the next day (i.e. Thursday)....This was like WOOOW!! Guru ka din and interview. My bro accompanied me to the office where I had my interview. I was taken inside a room. Where I had my technical round 2 on 1. It went pretty bad, with the interviewers questioning me left and right on various topics. I came out with a clear indication that it was pretty bad and chances were less unless Guruji does some miracle.
So I came home and decided I would join Bangalore, and enquired about the flights to Bangalore.

That evening I went for Guru Puja and satsang. Had a blissful Guru Puja performed by my brother and I was fully immersed in satsang. And there the miraculous call came to my brother saying, "We are ready to take him". This was such a sweet music to everyone of us. But they were taking for some other position than what I had applied for and this one had shifts, which I did not want to do at any cost. So I told my parents and brother that I am joining in Bangalore. And there after sometime, another call comes saying, we will take you for yet another position and this one does not have shifts!!
I was like WOOOW!!!!

Now that they had unofficially assured me, that they would take me, official confirmation was still awaited. And till I got that, visa process wouldn’t start. So I thought of coming to Bangalore Ashram for seva and during my seva period I got my official confirmation.

Also, this whole process after selection takes generally 4-5 months at least. But for me, it happened in a month's time.

Indeed Guru ki mahima koi na jaane!(no one knows what’s in God’s mind) Its only after I completely surrendered to him that he came to my rescue. He waits till you surrender completely.

My brother's boss came as Guru's vehicle in this process, which helped me totally in this and my brother was the most tangible Guru's vehicle.

So in which form he comes and helps us, no one knows. Its just necessary to have faith in HIM! :)
